CONTRACT WITH THE CITIZENS OF JACKSON
I, Timothy Henderson, pledge to my donors, supporters, voters, and the citizens of Jackson that as mayor of the city of Jackson, I will, to the best of my abilities, do the following:
1. RESTORE INTEGRITY AND TRUST​
I pledge to restore integrity, standards, and principles to the office of the mayor. I will restore the people’s trust in leadership!
2. PRIORITIZE PUBLIC SAFETY​
I pledge to make public safety one of my highest priorities, ensuring that we all can feel safe in our homes and not live in fear.

3. ENHANCE CITY CLEANLINESS AND PRIDE​
I pledge to make cleaning up the city another one of my highest priorities. We deserve to be proud of where we live, work, and play.

4. DRIVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT​
I pledge to be aggressive with economic development through plans that meet needs in each area of the city starting with affordable quality housing, maximizing current industries’ opportunities, and small business incubators.

5. ESTABLISH A CITIZEN'S ADVISORY BOARD​
I pledge to establish a citizen’s advisory board, consisting of one citizen from each ward selected by the citizens. We will meet monthly to hear concerns and share information that i believe the mayor should be sharing with the citizens.

6. SECURE RESOURCES FOR COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT​
I pledge to work with local, state, and federal elected officials to garner resources for the purpose of improving the quality of life for all the citizens of Jackson.

7. ENSURE FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
​I pledge to be fiscally responsible and accountable through the transparency of taxpayer dollars.

8. INVEST IN YOUTH AND THE ELDERLY
​I pledge to invest in our youth while also making sure our aged and elderly citizens know that they are not forgotten. I will work to ensure that all Jacksonians move forward together!
